Disney+ First Impressions

Disney Plus just launched recently and I've had some time to review the content and watch a few shows including the new series the Mandalorian as well as some classics.

My initial thoughts on Disney+ are generally positive. The content is all child-friendly at this point even the shows with some violent scenes don't have any excessive violence or language. The app worked perfectly with my iPhone, Android Tablet and Chromecast.

The content is a big draw or fallback to the service. People with young children and nostalgic for past Disney shows will love this service. Running Mickey Mouse episodes for your young children will have them singing for hours and watching reruns of the 90's X-MEN will take you back to your childhood. However this is where the problem lies because original content is at a bare minimum at this point and people who enjoy movies/series rated above PG-13 will not be satisfied.

The Mandalorian is a great series so far that brings back the original feel of Star Wars. However, if Star Wars isn't your cup of tea and your expired on all the Marvel content at this point the only thing to keep you occupied will be the handful of documentaries or some nostalgic shows.

Final first impression parents with young children should pick it up for the child friendly content but adults past the Disney phase in their life should pass unless you like Marvel and Star Wars.

Checkacola out!!
