I found a Cemetery in the woods

I Found A Cemetery in the Woods

The following is footage that I filmed while exploring the woods about 1000 kilometers north of the Canadian-US border. I have not been able to find my way back and posted this article with the last bit of power I have left in my laptop. I used a radio transmitter to connect to a local satellite radio station and accessed their data network.

I should also show everyone who reads this this video as well:

My family was on a vacation exploring northern Canada. We like to walk in the woods and explore the places that are not well known. The area we chose had no formal campsites and was basically just a hole in the forest that we found.

On our first day of our vacation we stocked up in groceries at Cold Lake which is also known as the birth place of wolverine. It was a place on my bucket list after visiting Regina a few years earlier the birthplace of dead pool. We have been camping for years and have all the safety and emergency supplies to last for at least a month including GPS locators and ways to access the network of close localized places usually forest ranger networks. Once we were stocked up on supplies we headed north to find a location where we could leave our vehicle and hike into.

We drove for about another five hours north, the dense woods did not allow for any views except the occasional bear sitting on the side of the road. As for traffic we would pass a vehicle every so often but the farther north we went the less vehicles we passed.

The natural light of the sun was getting less and less. I decided to pull over to the side of the road and sleep for the night. The night was uneventful and we started driving right at the break of dawn. We drove for about another before finding an old road that looked like a great place to pull over and park our vehicle out of site. The problem with northern Canada is that if you leave your vehicle alone and someone knows its alone they will either steal your vehicle or light it on fire. So we drove down the old road and parked our vehicle off to the side out of the view of the main road and hidden from the old road well enough that you would miss it if you weren't looking for it.

Once this was done we took our camping supplies and started our trek through the woods. The natural beauty of the area is astounding and you can find a lake almost everywhere without much effort. We hiked for about thirty minutes before finding a lake. We decided to set up our site here. The lake was an average size for the area and the beach was beautiful with crystal clear water. My wife and kids already were setting up the tent while I set up the fishing rods and chairs. The spot was perfect for us. The midday sun allowed us to swim and enjoy the campsite.

At sunset we built a fire on the beach and had a hot dog roast. Once the sun went down and the moon gleamed down the wolves started howling. The area had adequate food for them so we did not have to worry about them. Our only worry was the possibility of bears coming into our site. However, all our food was in air tight containers and out of sight so the scent would not attract bears. When we were ready for bed the crickets started singing which let for a nice way to fall asleep.

The next morning we decided to  explore the area and see if we could find some interesting things. We walked not far from our camp when we came across what looked like a small cemetery (second video). We thought it was creepy and cool. I even joked about building a house there. The area was maybe ten by twenty feet max with about twenty crosses. We never touched any of the crosses or disturbed the area other than walking by it. We kept walking and had lunch in a clearing at about noon. We decided to turn around and head back to camp for an afternoon swim and fish fry if we were lucky to catch some.

We walked past the cemetery again and kept walking towards our campsite. However, we kept walking and walking and couldn't seem to find our campsite. Night was coming quick and we were getting anxious. I decided that we must of walked past our camp somehow and we turned around. We walked the other way and found the cemetery again as we walked back. My wife and I decided to stay close to the cemetery for the night. We had enough equipment with us to last the night without our camp.

The night was uneventful and the cemetery did not bother us but was actually a sign of people which was more of a comfort. The next morning we kept walking and walking with no luck. We turned around and found the cemetery again. We tried walking in multiple ways before turning around and finding the cemetery again. We slept in the same spot again. We had food and could catch fish or small game if needed.

This was rinse and repeat now for multiple days, maybe even weeks, or months. we kept looking for our campsite. My wife and kids were getting weaker and weaker everyday even though we got enough food for us from the land. It's been three or four months as I type this. Please help us if you see this. We need your help before it is too late. My laptop is dying and our lack of finding our stuff leads me to believe someone took it. Please, I'm begging you help us.
