iPhone 12 Unboxing (First Thoughts)

My iPhone 12. I picked this phone up unexpectedly because my iPhone SE 1st edition’s battery couldn’t hold a charge longer than 3 hours with the new iOS update and rooting the phone wasn’t an option I wanted as I need a stable phone. So here comes the iPhone 12.

This is just an initial review of the iPhone 12 and unboxing in the future I may do an in depth review but you’ll have to wait and see.

The front of the iPhone box is simple with just a picture of the iPhone. In my case I got the black iPhone which I think is the best color. Although the dark blue comes in a close second and would suffice if the black was sold

The back of the box again is simple with a preamble about the phone and what comes in the package.

The side of the box and top/bottom are nothing special and promote the iPhone with the logo and the word iPhone.

Inside the box we get the barebones! No charger no headphones and no way to connect wired headphones not supporting the lightning charging plug. USB C is missed! However we do get a lightning to usb c cable to charge the phone but you’ll need a usb c charger which a lot of people upgrading from older phones won’t have. I have a wireless charger from my Samsung watch so I just charge without a brick even though it takes forever to charge.

Don’t forget the $1000 dollar sticker which is more important than a charger!! 🥴🥴🥴

The front of the phone is shiny and hard to photograph with my Moro g5. Yes I have an android phone too but just for YouTube and photos no calling I’m not switching SIM cards or paying for two plans.

Overall the iPhone 12 so far has been awesome and is a step up on the iPhone SE 1st edition. I love the Face ID but do miss the finger print sensor. The screen is beautiful and the speed of apps is awesome. The camera is pretty sweet too.
